If you thought Ring security cameras only served as protection against intruders, wait until you watch all the memes created out of a video in which a man says “open the noor.”
The reactions the video has got are interesting because some social media users find it extremely funny, while others think it’s quite creepy.

‘Open the noor’ video goes viral
The video we are talking about has been making rounds across social media platforms for a few weeks now. It features a middle-aged man, who looks and sounds drunk, repeating multiple times “open the noor’, while standing before a Ring camera.
The clip has been made viral by people as they can’t stop laughing at the man’s pronunciation of the word door. Some, however, find it a bit creepy.
The origin of the video isn’t clear, although Know Your Meme credits TikTok user samantha_roseeeeeo for first sharing it on her account in October last year.
The video recorded on the porch camera gathered more attention after it was shown on the YouTube channel Outside Edition.
The young man in it implies the video is so creepy that he’s considering moving out of Ohio. But, we don’t know for sure if the recording happened in the same place.
Clip results in a plethora of memes
The content of the video has been perceived differently by each user, thus resulting in some hilarious memes online.
At first, many used shots of Walter Jr. from Breaking Bad to imagine him saying the same phrase, and since the trend died, other kinds of memes have been made using the same video.
Some TikToks show little girls coming way too close to the security camera, repeating the viral phrase in a very creepy way, and others have used it as a reference to joke about girlfriends’ reactions to boyfriends coming home late or best friends meeting one each after a long time.

One Twitter user joked: “Spirits in my head and the only thing they say : Open na noor open the noor open na noor.”
