An Ohio guy was taken into custody by police on suspicion of shooting an unknown man in the face outside a strip club because the victim refused to share his potato chips.
Melvin Wright, 42, is charged with felonious assault and possession of weapons while disabled, according to police reports, as reported by WOIO-TV.
It’s unknown if he hired a lawyer to speak on his behalf or if he pleaded guilty to the allegations.
Following a 31-year-old victim’s request for treatment at a nearby hospital for a gunshot wound to the face, police in Akron, Ohio, arrested Wright in relation to an alleged shooting on Tuesday outside Lusty’s Adventures, according to WEWS-TV.
The victim informed police that the suspect “shot him after he denied his request to give him some of his potato chips” when they were questioned about a potential motivation for the killing, according to a news release that WJW-TV was able to receive.
According to the authorities, the victim’s injuries were not life-threatening. Wright is still behind bars.
