Baljeet Kaur was found alive today, a day after she went vanished from Camp IV of Mountain Annapurna in Nepal while descending from the summit point. She was founded by an aerial search team and was seen descending alone toward Camp IV.

Baljeet was left alone at the summit point and had stayed out of radio contact until she sent a radio signal asking for “urgent help”. Then she was air-lifted and safely appear at the Annapurna base camp. She will be airlifted back to Kathmandu (Nepal) for a medical examination.

The company organizing the expedition gave a statement that shared the updates about Baljeet’s rescue. They congratulate her for her skills and training which helped her overcome the “daunting incident” and wished her a speedy and complete recovery.

Achievement of Baljit Kaur

Due to bad weather, the team could reach only 6350 meters high. However, a year later, she again became part of the NCC expedition to Mount Everest. During the climb, his team had reached 8,548 meters, but Baljeet was called back due to a faulty oxygen mask.

However, her courage did not break and in the year 2022, Baljit Kaur created history when on May 17 she left for the climb of Mount Everest at 10 am, after just five days of hard work and struggle, she fulfilled her dream.

At the same time, she also achieved the feat of conquering Mount Pumori, 7,161 meters high, near the Nepal-Tibet border.
