Bernard Strother Obituary News: Longtime Richmond firefighter Bernard Strother has passed away. After a horrific incident that led to his death yesterday, he died. Bernard worked in the public sector for a long time; his most recent position was as a dedicated volunteer with the Falmouth Volunteer Fire Department.
Prior to that, he spent his whole career as a fireman for the City of Richmond. His passing is lamented by his family, friends, and the Richmond Fire Department.
Bernard also gave honourable service to his country while serving in the US Marine Corps. In addition to the many other public employees that worked in the area, Bernard was well-known among the career and volunteer personnel of the Stafford County Fire and Rescue Service.
