Billy Bob’s, Rock Island, will close permanently

Billy Bob’s, 1722 2nd Ave., Rock Island, is closing permanently.

The business, in The District, made the announcement in a social-media post.

“It’s with a heavy heart that we have to make this post,” it reads, adding Saturday, Oct. 3, will be the business’s last day open.

The post says there will be a “going out of business party next weekend.”
