At the residence she called home on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, Brenda L. Stone, who was 75 years old and from Tower City, went to be with the Lord.
She is the daughter of Bernice Keiter, who passed away, and was born in Pottsville on July 3, 1948.
In her twenty years of service with Schuylkill County Children and Youth, Brenda was a social worker who eventually departed from the organization.
She was a social member of the Williamstown American Legion in addition to being a member of the Lykens and the Calvary Independent Church that she attended. Over the course of fifteen years, Brenda volunteered her time at the Lifeline Pregnancy Care Center in Millersburg.
Her family was the center of her universe. A great deal of pride and satisfaction was provided to her by her grandchildren.
Even though her departure came as a complete surprise, we may find solace in the knowledge that she is now with her Lord and Savior. For her unwavering devotion to God and her unwavering faith, she will be remembered.
In addition to her husband of 43 years, Frederick W. Stone, she is survived by her two sons, Donald Kauffman and his wife Janida, and Mark Ellinger, as well as her three grandchildren, Elyssa Ellinger, Cody Ramer, and Michael Kauffman.
The chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home in Tower City will be the location of the funeral services that will be place on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at eleven o’clock in the morning. The hours of visitation are from 10 to 11. In the Greenwood Cemetery, Brenda will be laid to rest after her passing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Lifeline Pregnancy Care Center, which is located at 403 Union Street, Millersburg, Pennsylvania 17061.
