After graduating from Milton Area High School, Corey continued his study at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. He earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics Teacher Education there in 1991.

Following his academic path, he graduated from the same university in 2004 with a Master of Technology (MTech) in Educational/Instructional Technology. He began his career as a shift manager at CVS Health in Danville, Pennsylvania, where he gathered a great deal of expertise.

For nine years and five months, from October 1986 to February 1996, Corey worked shifts managing bank deposits, overseeing accounting processes, and performing a variety of managerial duties.

Notably, his responsibilities included keeping the store’s inventory under control and rotating products on a regular basis. He was also in charge of designing and adjusting product displays to improve the shopping atmosphere.

After that, Corey moved on to work at Institutional Eye Care in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, where he was employed for two years, from February 1996 to January 1998, as the office manager.

He was in charge of the efficient ordering procedure for lenses, frames, and other production-related supplies throughout his time there. Notably, he improved the office’s general operating efficiency by introducing computerization to the invoicing and inventory divisions.

Following that, Corey’s love of learning brought him to the Midd-West School District, where he worked as a committed teacher. In this role, he taught a wide range of subjects, including Multimedia Productions, Consumer Mathematics, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, and Personal Finance.

His dedication to helping pupils develop a thorough understanding of these subjects highlighted his value to the learning environment at the school.
