Drake’s fans couldn’t be more thrilled to recite the lyrics, ‘I know myself and I know what I want’, after the rapper shared a snippet of his unreleased song Yves Slatt Laurent on Instagram stories.
Drake is basking in the success of his latest album For All the Dogs, which not only tied him with Michael Jackson for most No.1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 chart but also inspired interesting merch like the 2024 planner and calendar featuring his son’s artwork. The rapper has caught fans’ attention yet again by teasing one of his unreleased songs.
Drake shares Yves Slatt Laurent’s snippet
Drake took to Instagram today, October 23, to share a snippet of his yet-to-be-released song Yves Slatt Laurent, and fans aren’t able to contain their excitement.
The Instagram story shows a clip from a club party with the rapper’s verse playing in the background. He did not share any additional information about the song’s potential release.
According to Genius, Drake recorded the track when he was working on his previous album, Certified Lover Boy, but it was never released.
Rumors were rife that the track would make it on For All the Dogs, which is his latest album. As that wasn’t the case, it remains to be seen if Yves Slatt Laurent will drop as a single or if it’s from another project Drizzy could potentially be working on.
‘I know myself and I know what I want’ lyrics go viral
