Family Karma’s Amrit and Nicholas Hint At Emotional Wedding 

Family Karma Season 3 Finale is about Amrit Kapai and Nicholas Kouchoukos’ big, gay Indian wedding. And according to the duo, there will be a whole lot of tears. 

“Bring a full tissue box with you because there are so many emotions … [and] viewers are going to see that,” Amrit told Page Six in a joint interview with his husband. 

He continued, “It’s emotional. Viewers are going to see my close friends and my community talk about our journey together [and] our relationship.”

Family Karma‘s Amrit and Nicholas have received heartwarming feedback from queer viewers, who feel represented by their love story.

Amrit told the news outlet that he wants their LGBTQIA+ viewers to be inspired by their wedding. Amrit, who received the Human Rights Campaign Visibility Award, said he wants them to believe it’s possible for them too. 

Nicholas Kouchoukos’ Parents Struggled With His Sexuality 

Family Karma‘s Amrit and Nicholas experienced some difficulties throughout their decade-plus relationship.

They experienced a pre-wedding challenge with Nicholas’ parents, who are devout Catholics. The duo didn’t express fervent support for their son’s same-sex nuptials, which took place in April 2022.

However, they agreed to attend the lavish, days-long Atlanta celebration. Meanwhile, they declined to be filmed for the Bravo series, a decision that might transcend religious affiliations. 

“My mom was more reserved and shy and isn’t necessarily one to be around a huge crowd,” Nicholas said, acknowledging his mother’s innate aversion to attention and cameras. 

Amrit also defended his spouse’s parents, adding that not everyone likes to be on TV, especially “reality TV where you don’t necessarily know how you’re going to be portrayed.” 

The pair also pointed out that, despite any piety and reality TV optics, Nicholas’ parents have “showered” them with love over the years.

Nicholas added that his parents send them numerous care packages, including handmade items and sweets. The 39-year-old said he always tells his parents he loves them and talks to them daily. 

He also revealed that his parents had accepted his relationship with Amrit, adding that they embrace and celebrate them. 

Nicholas added that coming out is as hard for the one coming out as it is for their loved ones. Family Karma‘s Amrit and Nicholas finally fulfilled their dreams of being together. The pair has also talked about moving on to the next level. Hopefully, they will have a good life together.
