Family of 4 reported missing during move from New Orleans to Houston

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The New Orleans Police Department is seeking the public’s help locating a family reported missing.
Police say Ramon Ruiz Crisanto, 31, his wife Steys Yanira David-Funez, 26, and their two children, Jazzlyn Esther Ruiz David, 5, and Dara Ismeray Ruiz David, 2, were reported missing after their move to Houston on Nov. 30, 2023.
The reporting person says he received a text saying the family had arrived at their destination, but other relatives in Texas said the opposite.
Initial contact made by the reporting person was followed by unsuccessful attempts, raising concerns.
Anyone with information about the missing family is asked to call Sixth District detectives at (504) 658-6060.
