Whether you like Cocaine Bear or not, these memes from Twitter are sure to send you into hysterics.
The Elizabeth Banks directorial hit the theaters on Friday, February 24, and opened to mixed reactions on Twitter. Some couldn’t get enough of the bear as high as a kite, while others feel the film didn’t know where to stop.
Along with known artists such as Ray Liotta and O’Shea Jackson Jr., the film features TikTok star Scott Eiss, aka the Ikea guy, whose appearance in the teaser trailer a couple of months ago received a lot of attention.
Cocaine Bear is based on a true story about a drug dealer’s plane crash in 1985. The movie navigates the wild animal’s antics once it goes high on a bag full of drugs that dropped from the sky.
The official synopsis of the movie reads: “An oddball group of cops, criminals, tourists, and teens converge on a Georgia forest where a huge black bear goes on a murderous rampage after unintentionally ingesting cocaine.”
Meanwhile, people are sharing some hilarious memes on Twitter after watching the film, expressing their thoughts on a drug-induced animal and the characters’ struggle to stay alive.
