The Bachelorette Gabby Windey and Erich Schwer engaged on season 19 of DWTS (Dancing with the Stars). 

On Monday, Dancing With the Stars semi-finals episode, the former Bachelorette Gabby Windey talks about her split with her fiance Erich Schwer.

“I did just go through a breakup. The end of our relationship happened because we both weren’t in step and in sync with each other on our common goals or just the way we approach life,” she said. “We weren’t each other’s best match.”

 What Happened Leading Up To Their Split? 

 Gabby fiance Erich Schwer appeared on DWTS Elvis night and Erich was not in the ballroom to support Gabby on the show. She performed with her partner Val Chmerkovskiy on Viennese Waltz to “Can’t Help Falling In Love”, and won the mirrorball trophy with Val Chmerkovskiy.

Gabby and Erich engaged on season 19  of The Bachelorette. She was first circulating in October. She didn’t wear the engagement ring.

Gabby spoke to a Fox News reporter

“I think life is just really busy for the both of us right now. So, I understand their concern but we’re just kinda, you know, going forward with each of our individual interests and supporting each other from afar.” 

Gabby responsed fans saying

 “I know a lot of you guys have had questions, so I think they’ll be addressed.”

“and by I think, I mean I will.”

Gabby and Erich’s breakup was confirmed by People in November 2022. Their breakup comes after two months of their engagement.

Gabby Windey is one of the leads of season 19 of The Bachelorette. She is 31 years old originally from Illinois.

Gabby works as an ICU nurse and was a cheerleader for the Denver Broncos for five years. She rose to fame after she went on The Bachelorette starring alongside Rachel Recchia.

Erich Schwer is a real estate analyst originally from New Jersey. Erich is 29 years old was on the 19th season of The Bachelorette and got engaged to Gabby Windey. His father Allen was battling cancer and passed away just five days before the season premiere.
