Halima Abubakar Illness, Health Update, Is She Sick? Quits Acting Over Undisclosed Ailment

Halima Abubakar Illness:- A defamation lawsuit was filed by the Apostle Johnson Suleman (The senior pastor of Fire and Omega Ministries) against actress Halima Abubakar.

She accused him of having an affair with her and inflicting her with sickness. She also disclosed that she got pregnant three times with him and lost their all child.

According to Halima’s statement, he physically assaulted her while she bled. This case will come up for hearing on 25 March 2023.

Halima Abubakar is a famous Nigerian actress. She is also the Afro Hollywood Best Actress award winner, in 2011. She has started her acting career in 2001 when she played a small role in Rejected.

She played her first role in Gangster Paradise. She is also well known as the CEO of Morehouse Entertainment, a music label, and entertainment management company.

Halima Abubakar has been suffering from an undisclosed long-term disease. She has decided to quit her acting career because of her illness.

According to some sources, she got diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer (Lupus) on 23 September 2019 and she had been suffering since 2016 from this disease.

She knew about her illness after she collapsed at her father’s funeral in November 2016.

Halima Abubakar’s illness was confirmed by her family. Her management team’s member Tonto Dikeh announced her illness.

She was admitted to an Abuja hospital where she took blood transfusions to beat a disease called aplastic anemia. It made her bone marrow unable to produce new blood cells. 

As Halima got tangled in an ongoing altercation with Apostle Johnson, her family warned Johnson that he would be responsible if anything wrong happened to her. 

Her management team announced officially her illness and wrote, 

“Halima Abubakar quit acting. We are so grateful for all the prayers.”

“God bless you all but as of today, she will no longer act. It is her wish. We love you all. Thank you for your support. She is so downcast. She really did love acting. Thank you.”
