How Genshin Impact’s Extra Archon Quest Rewards Work

Genshin Impact players will be receiving additional rewards for the completion of Archon Quests. The new quality-of-life feature is being added with Version 3.5 and will be available for all players moving forward. The function announced by developer HoYoverse is also retroactive, meaning that advanced players and those who are up-to-date with the main campaign will be able to redeem rewards for all the Archon Quests completed in the game so far.

Previously, when players complete Archon Quests in Genshin Impact, they get rewards associated with the quest. Now, with the new 3.5 update, they will get additional prizes. One of these rewards will be a pleasant surprise for players who enjoy testing their luck in Genshin Impact’s limited-time banners.

While each of the reward sets for each Archon Quest has not officially been confirmed, what was showcased in the Genshin Impact 3.5 livestream on Genshin Impact’s official Twitch channel was enough to show what players can expect. It has been confirmed by HoYoverse that every single Archon Quest completion will result in an Intertwined Fate being rewarded to players, along with other useful rewards. The livestream demonstrated the claim of rewards related to three different Archon Quests, which included the Intertwined Fate, 3x Hero’s Wit (Character EXP Materials), 6x Mystic Enhancement Ore (Weapon Leveling Materials), and 3x Sanctifying Essence (Artifact Leveling Materials).

After Genshin Impact 3.5 releases, players will be able to open their Adventurer Handbook feature and find the Guide tab. On the top part of the page, they will see the rewards associated with the Archon Quest. If they have completed it, they should click on the present icon to claim the rewards. These prizes can be claimed consecutively if players have already completed multiple Archon Quests in Genshin Impact. New players will gradually unlock these rewards since they will still be in the process of catching up with the main campaign.

With the additional Intertwined Fates granted by completing Archon Quests in Genshin Impact, players have better chances at pulling their desired characters or weapons in limited-time banners. Intertwined Fates are the items needed for each pull in the character and weapon banners, so having many of them is the best way to ensure they will grab what they want. Another great aspect of these Archon Quest rewards in Genshin Impact is the fact that players receive an entire Intertwined Fate rather than only Primogems.

Usually, the Primogems granted through quests are not enough to buy a Fate since they cost 160 Primogems. However, by getting the Intertwined Fate directly through the Archon Quest rewards, their chances of actually pulling the 5-star Genshin Impact character or weapon that they desire are a lot higher. This also serves as an extraordinary incentive to continue playing through Genshin Impact’s campaign, even if it is for the sake of rewards rather than the story.
