Is Planet Fitness open New Year’s Eve, Day and January 2nd?

New Year’s Eve

All Planet Fitness locations closed on Christmas Day, but they will stay open on Saturday, December 31 aka New Year’s Eve.

The low-cost gym is typically open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, but there is a reduced period for the holidays.

Hours vary depending on the branch; for example, even gyms within the same state operate on different schedules. Some regions close at 7pm.

New Year’s Day

Some locations will operate on New Year’s Day, opening from 6am or 7am. Select Planet Fitness’ such as in Covina, California, is scheduled to be closed.

January 2

Planet Fitness will be open on January 2 – branches that close on New Year’s Day will reopen at around 6am. Those which are accessible on January 1 will continue onto January 2 as per their usual 24/7 schedule.
