Youssoufa Moukoko is a German striker who competes for both the German national team and the Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund. His ability to score at younger age levels is well renowned.
He was sent to the Borussia Dortmund youth academy in July 2016. He represented Dortmund as the only 13-year-old in the Under-17 Bundesliga.
On September 17, 2019, he finished his first UEFA Youth League match against FC Barcelona, becoming the competition’s youngest player on October 23, 2019, Moukoko became the YL’s youngest goal scorer when he scored the game’s first goal against Inter Milan. He was called up for the Germany U21 team in March 2021, however, he injured himself during training, keeping him out until the end of the 2020–21 campaign.
Later, on September 2, 2021, he made his debut for the U21s in a 6-0 victory over San Marino, to which he contributed two goals.
