Jagadish Shettar Wife – Jagadish Shettar is an Indian politician. He served as the 15th chief minister of Karnataka from 12 July 2012 to 13 May 2013. He had been minister of Large & Medium Industries Government of Karnataka from 20 August 2019 to 28 July 2021.
He served as the minister of the Public Enterprises Government of Karnataka from 27 September 2019 to 28 July 2021. He had been minister of Rural Development & Panchayat Raj Government of Karnataka from 17 November 2009 to 12 July 2012.
He was the speaker of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly from 5 June 2008 to 16 November 2009. He was the minister of the Revenue Government of Karnataka from 18 February 2006 to 8 October 2007.
He had been a leader of the Opposition Karnataka Legislative Assembly for two terms from 23 January 2014 to 15 May 2018 and from 29 October 1999 to 23 February 2004. He was a member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly in two terms 2008-2023 and 1994-2008.

When Jagadish Shettar joined Congress and returned to Hubballi to an emotional welcome. His wife broke down after seeing her husband back home as his supporters cheered and raised slogans congratulating him.
She wished him all the best for his future innings. After not being granted a ticket by the BJP, Jagadish joined the Congress in the presence of party president Mallikarjun Kharge, KPCC president DK Shivakumar and Congress leaders Randeep Surjewala, Siddaramaiah at the party office in Bengaluru.
Shilpa said,
“My husband is an invincible leader, and I am confident that no one can defeat my husband. When my husband joined the BJP, it was a barren land. My husband laid the foundation of a building on the land and made BJP what it is in Karnataka. However, now they have made him leave the party.”
“He did not ask for the post of CM, he did not ask for the post of minister. But he had asked for a respectful farewell.”
Jagdish Shettar Lost Badly Hubli-Dharwad Seat
Jagadish, who joined the Congress leaving the BJP, lost the Hubli-Dharwad seat by more than 35 thousand votes and BJP’s Mahesh Tenginakai won this seat. Jagadish was trailing from this seat.
