“My heart is hurting today. I lost a very close friend last night. Jason Welles was the most selfless friend I’ve ever known. He was my best man at my wedding, he was a good man, a drinking buddy, a gym partner, my triathlon competition and we bantered back and forth about whose faster. He would literally give me the shirt off his back if he had to. But I’m not the only one he would do that for. He was just that way with all of his close friends. My heart cries for his three children he’s left behind. I don’t know what else to say.… it hasn’t hit home yet as much as I know it will. Jason is gone and he will be missed very much. My prayers go out to all of his friends and family 🙏🏼😢”
