Key Glock pays tribute to late Young Dolph with arm tattoo

Late Memphis rapper Key Glock has paid an emotional tribute to the star with an arm tattoo.
Young Dolph’s death shocked hip-hop fans around the world. The late rapper was shot outside of a local cookie store in Memphis on November 17th.
While the 36-year-old’s death impacted many, it seemingly took the biggest toll on his protege Key Glock, who is still reeling from his loss.

Key Glock’s arm tattoo explored
Key Glock, 24, revealed his arm tattoo via his Instagram stories on Monday (November 30).
The star got Young Dolph’s portrait tattooed on his arm. He shared the stunning tattoo with a caption that read, “When they see me, they see you.”
The star, whose full name is Markeyvius LaShun Cathey, rose to fame with his 2017 mixtape Glock Season. Following the mixtape’s success, he became associated with Paper Route Empire, the label founded by Young Dolph.

A look at star’s relationship with Young Dolph
Any true Hip Hop fan will know that Key Glock and Young Dolph were great collaborators. The two created many songs and even a full-length album together.
One of their most successful endeavours is the 2019 album Dum and Dummer, which they followed up with Dum and Dummer 2 in 2021.
Some of their highly successful collaborative songs are Penguins, Water on Water on Water, Baby Joker and more.
However, outside of their professional connections, the two were also cousins.
Following Young Dolph’s death, Key Glock paid tribute to late rapper writing, “damn bro, im LOST my heart is torn my brain bout to explode it HURTS when I breathe..why you leave me so soon?? I’ll never be the same, you was my lefthand man,my brother,my cousin,my mentor and drank partner for the past 2 years I been taking LOSS AFTER LOSS and still can’t understand why.”
Alongside the heartbreaking caption, the star also posted a series of images showing him alongside Young Dolph through the years. He also wrote, “Words really can’t explain how I truly feel right now.”
Update about the late rapper’s case
Following Young Dolph’s death, three people were detained and later charged in connection to another shooting that took place near his memorial.
The investigation about the rapper’s death is still ongoing.
