Konami to Release PC Gaming Hardware ARESPEAR

Konami, the Japan-based videogame developer and publisher, is entering the PC gaming hardware market with ARESPEAR. Dubbed as its Esports gaming hardware, it is set to have an entry-level, high, and intermediate-range of PCs available at pre-order. With the name coming from a Greek God of war, Ares, and his Spear as his weapon, ARESPEAR wants to be the hardware of choice in the competitive world of Esports. Its tagline is “advanced revolution of Esports” and the company will use this “spear” in penetrating the PC gaming market.
ARESPEAR C300

Konami ARESPEAR C700+
The ARESPEAR C700+ has the same specs with the C700, but Konami added a stylish LED light design. The light emission pattern is customizable and is seen through the insides and sides of the tower.

Also, the Japanese developer offers PC peripherals such as keyboards and headphones. The ARESPEAR has two keyboard models, a full keyboard and a numeric keyless one, both priced at JPY 32,780 or USD 313. The ARESPEAR Headphones, on the other hand, costs JPY 19,580 or around USD 187.
The peripherals mentioned are already available and are ready to ship. The ARESPEAR PC models are still on pre-order with plans of delivery before the year ends. There is no information yet if these will be made available globally. Konami is a videogame developer and publisher known for Contra, Castlevania, Metal Gear, and Silent Hill. They are also extending to Esports and are building an Esports studio in its Tokyo headquarters.
