Light Yagami Death Note Wiki – Light Yagami is the protagonist of the manga series Death Note, created by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata. He is depicted as an intelligent but dissatisfied genius who comes across a supernatural notebook, known as the Death Note, which allows its user to kill anyone whose name and face they know. This notebook was dropped by a Shinigami named Ryuk.

Frustrated by the injustice and inequality in society, Light decides to use the Death Note to eliminate those whom he considers morally unworthy, becoming the infamous vigilante known as Kira. His ultimate goal is to create a crime-free world that he would rule over as a god-like figure. However, his actions do not go unnoticed, and he is pursued by a special task force, led by a consulting detective named L.

In the anime adaptation, Light is voiced by Mamoru Miyano in Japanese and by Brad Swaile in the English version. In the live-action film series, he is portrayed by Tatsuya Fujiwara, with Swaile reprising his role as the English dub voice. In the musical, he is played by both Kenji Urai and Hayato Kakizawa, while in the TV drama, he is portrayed by Masataka Kubota.

In the American film adaptation, his counterpart is played by Nat Wolff. Light’s depiction in the anime has received critical acclaim.

Light Yagami was born on 28 February 1986 (1989 in Anime). He was born in Japan. As per manga or anime, he is portrayed as a teen genius and a model student with a polite, reserved, and gentleman-like personality, who is well-liked and popular among his peers and teachers and known for being the class topper.

At the beginning of the story, Light Yagami is a student in his last year of high school; he later attends To-Oh University. He died on January 28, 2010 (or 2013 in the anime).

Light is a young man with light-brown hair and brown eyes, standing at an above-average height. During Part 1, When not wearing his school uniform, which consists of a tan suit and red tie, he dresses casually, sometimes sporting a dress shirt underneath a jacket or a V-neck sweater with a collared t-shirt underneath.

Light Yagami Age Of Death

Light Yagami died at the age of 20-23 as per sources. He died on January 28, 2010 (or 2013 in the anime). He is killed when Ryuk writes his name in his own Death Note, just as the Shinigami had warned when they first met.
