Luke Akerman Motorcycle Accident: Momence man hospitalized after Wednesday crash on East Court Street.
A motorcycle driver was transported to a hospital in Chicago following a collision on Wednesday. The collision occurred when the motorcycle collided with the rear of a semi-tractor-trailer at the interchange of East Court Street and Interstate 57 Exit 312.
According to Kankakee Police Chief Chris Kidwell, the victim, identified as a 31-year-old man from Momence, is reported to be in stable condition as of Thursday afternoon.
Luke Akerman remains in the hospital in stable condition. He has a very long road of recovery ahead of him.
