New Scooby-Doo Trailer Promises The Crossover Of A Lifetime

Scooby-Doo and Courage have a lot in common, so a crossover makes total sense. They're both ironically scaredy-cats. They both inexplicably put themselves in situations where they have to confront their greatest fears. And they both have funny voices. "Courage the Cowardly Dog" may have only aired from 1999 to 2002, but it's maintained a loyal following, an impressive feat considering how many nightmares it gave children back in the day. All of this to say, this is one animated film every '90s kid will want to check out.
Based on the trailer, it looks like the Mystery Gang will find themselves in the middle of Nowhere. That's not a play on words; they're literally in the town of Nowhere, which just so happens to be where Courage lives with his owners, Muriel and Eustace. As tends to be the case, strange things are afoot on Courage's farm, and in this instance, it's an army of monstrous cicadas.
Technically, this isn't the first time the two have joined forces. The pair got together in a Cartoon Network promo years ago to get the word out regarding a spooky marathon of their two respective shows. It's too bad this movie didn't exist back then because it would've been the perfect way to end the binge-watch. Here's hoping a sequel to "Straight Outta Nowhere" gets greenlit and that the cast of "2 Stupid Dogs" makes an appearance.
