MR. Rocky Thurston serves as Senior Vice President and General Manager - Civilian, State and Local Group of the Company. Since 2015, Rocky has served as the vice president of a $500 million business unit at AT&T which delivered products and services to the U.S. Air Force and other defense customers, including U.S. Strategic Command, the Defense Intelligence Agency and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. During his three-plus year tenure, he transformed the organization to achieve seven percent year-over-year growth, 12 percent earnings growth and established a $10 billion pipeline. Prior to AT&T, Rocky spent nearly four years as a managing director and partner at Accenture, where he won more than $250 million in new business with the Transportation Safety Administration and created a new strategy to increase brand awareness at the Department of Homeland Security. During the prior 10 years, he held various other corporate positions of increasing responsibility at Wyle, Lockheed Martin and Booz Allen, where he gained valuable experience in P&L management, business development, capture management, and merger and acquisition integration activities. Rocky is a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force with a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the United States Air Force Academy. He also holds an MBA with a concentration in finance.
