Seth Douglas Accident; Urbana Man, Seth Douglas Passes Away In Tragic Car Crash

Seth Douglas, 24, of Urbana, Ohio, was the victim of a single-car accident that occurred early on Friday morning in Madison County. Seth Douglas died as a result of injuries he acquired in the deadly crash near London, according to sources.

A single vehicle collision on State Route 56 in Somerford Township, near London, about 1:50 a.m. is presently being investigated by the Ohio State Highway Patrol. It is believed by law authorities that Seth Douglas, a 24-year-old Urbana resident, was driving a 2018 Ford F-150 northwest on SR 56.

Douglas is said to have veered into the wrong side of the road, struck a utility pole, and then veered back onto the road, crossing the centre line. After making an excessively abrupt correction, the car again veered off the right side of the road and overturned after colliding with a ditch.

Tragically, the Madison County Coroner’s Office declared Douglas deceased at the scene. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is still looking into the incident and believes alcohol may have had a role in the collision.
