Shark Tank India is back with its second session on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV with the motto “Entrepreneur ki Leher Ek Baar First”.
Episode 1 of Shark Tank India Season 2 comes on January 2, 2023, at 10-11 PM IST. Creative director of the show Payal Seth, while it is produced by Studio Next, written by Ravikesh Vats.
Comedian Rahul Dua hosts this show, and this show’s six judges are Anupam Mittal Founder-CEO of Shaadi.com – People Group; Aman Gupta, Co-Founder-CMO of boAt; Namita Thapar, Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals; Vineeta Singh, Co-Founder-CEO of SUGAR Cosmetics; Peyush Bansal, Founder-CEO of Lenskart.com and Amit Jain, Co-Founder-CEO of CarDekho Group and InsuranceDekho.com.
Joining today’s business pitches is ‘TeaFit’, founded by Jyoti Bhardwaj. This brand is a healthy beverage brand that seeks to target India’s population.
Which has become a perennial sugar addict due to the ever-present artificially sweetened drink, thus becoming India’s No.1. 1 nation in diabetes statistics.
With a healthy and honest approach, ‘Teafit’ introduces its natural formulation of 15 herbs, combined with green and black tea to form a sugar-free concoction.
This brand was founded and started in 2021 and it also garnered the trust of 20,000+ customers at present.
They sell their brand products on their site as well as on online sites and the MRP rate of each bottle is 120. Jyoti’s demand for the day is Rs. 50 lakhs for 3% equity.
Last year’s profit of Joyty’s company was around Rs. 78,000, for the 2021-2022 time frame with sales at Rs. 15.5 lakhs. Of which 35% was sold online and the remaining 65% was sold offline.
She has also revealed that her first investor was her mother-in-law, Dr. Urmila Pandey, who signed the first check of Rs. 10 lakhs from her savings for a 0.5% investment in the company.
Piyush is ready to give a check for Rs. 50 lakhs for 20% equity. Vinita teams up with Anupam and offers Rs. 50 lakhs for 25% equity.
Aman has also offered her 50 lakhs for 10% equity. Aman, Piyush, Vinita, and Anupam are joined by Rs. 50 lakhs, 8% equity.
