Sherrard Elementary School dedicates new wing

Students at Sherrard Elementary School have a new wing to enhance their education.
The Sherrard Community Unit School District hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the $6 million addition. The new space has two new classrooms, two conference rooms, two offices and a new gymnasium. Construction on the wing began in March 2022.
The new wing opened in January.
