Sir Story
Bala Gangadhar Tilak (Dhanush), sometimes called Balu, is a junior lecturer at the Tripathi Educational Institute (TEI). The college administration adopts several government colleges in Andhra Pradesh’s rural areas and deputises Balu to instruct students at Siripuram Govt. College.
With the help of lecturer Meenakshi, Balu ensures that the local students attend college and receive decent test scores (Samyuktha). Bala’s future aspirations are derailed by furious TEI Chairman Tripathi (Samuthirakani).

Release Date
The movie’s Tamil and Telugu theatrical releases were set for 2 December 2022, however they were postponed. The movie’s release date of February 17, 2023, was declared in November 2022.
It was revealed that Seven Screen Studio has purchased the film’s Tamil Nadu distribution rights. The film’s digital rights were reportedly initially purchased by Aha Tamil, but Netflix eventually came into possession of them. Sun TV bought the satellite rights.
