Most of the TikToks that feature a Scandi hairline treatment are filmed in salons, yet hairstylists can be seen directly applying bleach to their clients’ foreheads, something which dermatologists advise against. “Applying hair bleach directly to the skin, especially in sensitive areas like the hairline and forehead, can pose several dangers and risks and is a trend that should be avoided,” says Dr Hayley Leeman, Consultant Dermatologist at the Cadogan Clinic.
