Earlier in 2022, Disney+ came out with a new "Simpsons" short, as it's done in the past. This one centered on Lisa Simpson feeling as though her musical prowess goes unappreciated by her family until she meets Billie Eilish, who finds her playing the saxophone under an overpass. Redditor u/That_Is_Bryce uploaded a short snippet from the special, and people were quick to point out how it's actually not bad, at least compared to modern "Simpsons" standards.

The short only clocks in at a few minutes, and that seems to be the perfect length of time for such a premise, especially considering it's slightly been done before with Lisa meeting a pop idol in the form of "Lisa Goes Gaga," where she meets Lady Gaga. But whereas that's widely considered one of the worst "Simpsons" episodes of all time, people think Billie Eilish's special is adorable, as evidenced by comments like, "So cuteeee" and "Aw actually pretty cute." It may not be the most profound thing "The Simpsons" has ever done, but fans seem to think it's fine for what it is.

It's worth noting that the original blurb was posted in a Billie Eilish subreddit, so it's possible the commenters are more Eilish fans than "The Simpsons" fans. But the more people invested in "The Simpsons," the better.
