Wembley murder investigation launched after 18-year-old boy stabbed to death

A MURDER investigation has been launched after a teenager was stabbed to death.
Cops were called to Wembley, north west London, at 1.35pm on Saturday following reports of a stabbing at an address.

An 18-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene after being knifed.
The victim's family have been informed and a post mortem carried out yesterday showed the boy died from knife wounds.
Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating, led by Detective Chief Inspector Andy Chalmers.

Police know the identity of the victim but formal identification awaits.
A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder yesterday and remains in custody.

The victim - named as Akeem - was pronounced dead at the scene in Eastney Road just after 11.30pm.
