‘What do you call a dead polar bear?’ is a line from the 2021 movie Ghostbusters: Afterlife, which is a sequel to the original.

It follows a single mother and her two children, who move into a farmhouse inherited from her father. As they settle in, they discover their associations with Ghostbusters.

A kid with a microphone asks one of the main characters Phoebe Spengler to “tell me a joke or something,” to which she replies: “A joke?”

“What do you call a dead polar bear?” she then says, and the kid looks confused. Phoebe then reveals the punchline.
