YouTube star CJ So Cool, real name Cordero James Brady, has been posting from a hospital bed. We cover what happened to the internet personality.
CJ So Cool began posting content to YouTube in December 2014 and now has close to nine million subscribers. He generally posts pranks, challenges, vlogs, giveaways, and reaction videos, and also makes music. He posts his official music videos on his YouTube account. The video for his song FUEGO has reached 13 million views.
The 33-year-old has six kids, Distractify reports, and recently moved to a new home he first showed off online in October 2022.

What happened to CJ So Cool?
On Thursday, January 12, CJ So Cool claimed on an Instagram story he had been shot four times during an alleged home invasion.
According to Brady’s since-expired Instagram Story, the attack occurred on Thursday at 3am and left him hospitalized.
He asked fans to keep him and his children in their prayers and added: “So far, I’m good.” He also shared a photo of his wounded leg from what appeared to be a hospital bed.
CJ So Cool’s girlfriend, Alexis Lohmier, also posted a since-expired Instagram Story showing the 33-year-old in a hospital bed and gown with the caption: “My baby is ok thank you God.” She added: “Home invasions are no joke.”
Alexis is a real estate agent based in Los Angeles. She has 107,000 followers on Instagram.

CJ So Cool showed fans around new home in YouTube video
Having moved to Las Vegas in March 2022, CJ So Cool showed his subscribers another new home in a YouTube video in October.
The luxury home features a laundry room, infinity pool, Jacuzzi, fire pit, and several bedrooms.
He explained he bought the home because he needed a “fresh start” and it was “time to start over.”

The Youtuber took to Instagram today, January 13, to express his gratitude for all the love and support he had received online and recount some more details regarding the alleged incident.
“I’m getting so much love right now. Everyone that’s reaching out to me in positive regards I appreciate you,” Brady said. “I literally was awaken [sic] out of my sleep by two people trying to kill me. I am just grateful to be here.”
The influencer reflected that, if he “would’ve passed away,” he “wouldn’t have been able to see” the support he had received from the online community.
