Master shark jumper Jimi Partington is getting a lot of attention after his story about surviving the deadliest shark attack in 2020 was shown on the TV show Great White Open Ocean.

Jimi is an expert at jumping over sharks and has been doing research and development on Great White Sharks for a long time. Jimi has spent most of the last fifteen years managing the travel industry, including the amazing white sharks on Guadalupe Island in Mexico.

Where Did Jimi Partington Go?

In 2019, shark expert Jimi Partington from Manchester went diving near Guadalupe Island in Mexico. He took video of the sharks hunting there.

The curious female shark weighed around two tons and was fully grown. Partington says he has seen this type of predator in the ocean before. He called her “Bullet” because her dorsal fin has a strange mark that looks like a bullet hole.

The 300 sharp, triangular teeth of a Great White shark are set up in up to seven rows, so anyone who gets caught in its mouth is in for a rude awakening.

The divers and Bullet did not get hurt, though, because the cage was made to take a beating.

What’s Jimi Partington’s age? Wikipedia Bio

Jimi Partington was born on December 26, 1983, in Jersey, which is one of the Channel Islands. As of the year 2022, Jimi will be 38 years old. He was born under the Capricorn star sign.

IMDb says that from 2014 to 2020, he was in seven episodes of the long-running show. As an expert on shark diving, he loves to see the world and dive with big white sharks.

Partington has a lot of experience with diving and taking pictures under water. From a young age, the way he moved and what he could do gave him ideas for his exciting diving career. He has met a number of well-known marine biologists, photographers, and wildlife experts during his career.

Because of this, his works have been praised by major media outlets around the world.

Did Jimi Partington have any accidents or strokes?

Jimi Partington did have a stroke and was taken to the hospital by helicopter. Jeff’s movie, Great White Open Ocean, is about a lot more than Jimi’s experience with the great white in the open sea.

Jimi starts to show signs of PTSD when he goes back to England after surviving the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jimi can finally go to New Zealand and meet great white sharks. Partington is in a cage on the ocean floor with great white sharks all around him. He then has a “snout-to-snout” meeting from the side of a boat.

But tragedy strikes right after the emotional moment. He has a stroke soon after getting on a boat with Jeff and McMillan, and he has to be taken to the hospital by helicopter.

The end of the movie shows how hard he worked to deal with the effects of the stroke. Jeff still talks to Jimi, and he says that his love of sharks is “driving” his rehabilitation.
