The funny sound comes from a video posted by a TikTok user called @ongodiswearfr who has over 90,000 followers on the platform.

In the clip, a kid tries to hide inside a big sweater, to which a guy in the background says “what the hell bro” and quickly pulls it off.

The child, who is wearing a red top, black beanie and lots of silver chains, then shouts “I wanna kill my mum” in an evil voice.

All the people in the room say “what the,” and the kid adds “I wanna kill my dad. I wanna kill my grandma” whilst everyone laughs.

As the video continues, he carries on screaming that he wants to kill everyone and an adult says “you’ve got to chill bro, relax”.

It’s sparked a viral TikTok trend

The video has had a huge 22.6 million views and gone viral thanks to his hilarious voice and dialogue, which has inspired the latest TikTok trend.

People are using the sound to explain situations where they wanted to ‘kill’ their parents as a child, usually because they wouldn’t let them do something.

All you have to do for the viral challenge is write a caption on the screen and play the ‘I wanna kill my mum sound in the background’.

The funny videos say things like ‘when I didn’t get the toy I wanted’ and ‘when your parents didn’t raise the last child the way they raised you’.
