Notably, UMPG has not publicly disclosed the specifics of the deal, and the company has yet to respond to Rolling Stone’s request for comment. The outcome of this legal battle will likely hinge on the interpretation of copyright laws and the timing of Wilson’s ability to reclaim his rights.
