Hubie Halloween arrived on Netflix on October 7th and welcomes rising star Paris Berelc but what do we know about the upcoming actress?

As October arrives once again, attention starts to turn towards the spookiest holiday of the year, Halloween.

The creepy time of year is always met with the release of new horror films and TV shows and 2020 is no different despite being a horror in and of itself.

Netflix’s first attempt at spooking up their streaming service this year comes in the form of Hubie Halloween, the latest comedy horror film from Adam Sandler whose movies have made a home for themselves on Netflix in recent years.

As it’s an Adam Sandler film, Hubie Halloween features plenty of big-name actors appearing in cameo roles as well as featuring some up and coming talent.

One rising star who enjoys a notable role in the film is Paris Berelc but just what do we know about her and who does she play?

Hubie Halloween arrived on Netflix on October 7th, 2020.

The horror-comedy stars writer and producer Adam Sandler as the titular Hubie Dubois, a member of the community in the town of Salem who spends every Halloween making sure that the local residents have fun and play by the rules.

However, this year, the fun and games are about to get much more serious as an escaped convict and a mysterious new neighbour have Hubie on high alert.

The actress, who is currently 21 years old, was born on December 29th, 1998 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and is of half Filipino descent.

Paris Berelc became a model at the age of just nine, appearing in adverts for Kohl’s, Boston Store, Sears and K-mart and even appeared on the cover of  American Girl magazine in 2009.

After starting acting classes in 2010, Paris Berelc made her professional acting debut in 2013 and has quickly made a name for herself. We’ll get onto her acting roles in a moment.

Like many actors in the modern industry, Paris is highly active on social media, most notably Instagram, where she has a following over 2.4 million fans at the time of writing.

As mentioned, Paris Berelc made her professional acting debut in 2013, this came in the Disney XD series, Mighty Med where she took on the role of Skylar Storm, a role that Paris reprised in the spin-off show Lab Rats: Elite Force.

Since her Disney debut, Paris has gone on to appear in almost 20 acting roles to date with her most notable roles coming in WTH: Welcome to Howler, Tall Girl as well as Netflix’s Alexa & Katie which is undoubtedly her biggest role to date as she starred as the titular Alexa.

With three Netflix roles under her belt and a huge fan following, we’re certain that Paris Berelc will be back on our screens before too long.
