Why some students in Illinois could lose their school scholarships

Students, parents and school administrators showed up in Springfield, calling on state lawmakers to save a scholarship program.
The Invest In Kids Scholarship Tax Credit Program helps provide scholarships for students whose families meet the income requirements to attend qualified, non-public schools and technical academies in Illinois, and it is scheduled to expire by the end of the year.
