Yusuf Zahid passed away on 18 July 2022 at the age of 17. He died after the Islamic Attack in the Syrian Jail.
He was among 850 children who had been detained at the prison.
He was injured when the Islamic State group attacked a prison in Syria’s Kurdish-controlled northeast in an attempt to free its fighters on 20 January 2022, Human Rights Group Says.
He sent a voice recording for his family and said he was scared and said he might die at any time, he said he lost a lot of blood but there were no doctors here no one who can help him.
